Renault has on table tow offers, one from the businessman Simon Roth, aiming to build a new project on Preciziei Blvd. in Bucharest’s district Militari, close to the current headquarters, and the second from Liviu Tudor, the largest Romanian office owner, which has in its portfolio the West Gate project in western Bucharest, where Renault’s offices are currently located.

„There is project of Renault single headquarters in Bucharest, which is in study, unconfirmed yet. We have currently over 28,500 sq. m rented in the two main offices North Gate in Pipera and West Gate in Militari“, said Group Renault Romania representatives. Renault also has rented in central Bucharest a villa for the design centre offices.

The stake of the discussions is represented by the rental of a building with 40,000 sq.m, which would generate annual revenues from rent of more than EUR 6.2 million, considering a price of EUR 13 per sq.m per month.

Simon Roth is an Israeli businessman, founder of the company Ganel Real Estate, who built several logistics centres rented to Renault, such as the one in Oarja, near Piteşti.

He invested in ECE starting with Hungary, in 1997, where he developed a commercial centre of 40,000 sq. m and offices of 20,000 sq. m.

By 2003, he developed a total of 26 real estate projects, including two malls, four hotels, six office buildings and a logistics centre for Geodis. Moreover, the company has developed a logistics centre for Renault Nissan alliance in Gyor, Hungary.

Liviu Tudor, through the real estate company Genesis Development, signed an extension of the lease agreement with Société Générale European Business Services by 2021. Currently, SG EBS – owned by Société Générale – is using 7,600 sq. m of offices in West Gate.

This is the fourth consecutive extension and consolidation in Genesis Development’s portfolio, following the extensions and expansions of Hewlett-Packard, Yokogawa and Infineon in Novo Park, totalising nearly 35,000 sq. m of offices. Genesis Development owns West Gate and Novo Park, a portfolio of 150,000 sq. m of A class offices. (Source: zf.ro)
